Outbound Training Program (OBT)
The Outbound or Outdoor Training is a technique used to enhance the efficiency of employees and organizational performance through Experiential Learning. In other words.. taking the group of employees away from the actual work environment into the outdoors and are assigned some challenging task or activity that needs to be completed by them within a given time frame.
An Outbound training program uses experiential learning in an outdoor setting to enhance team building and personal development by immersing participants in challenging activities that foster skills like teamwork, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making. These programs take individuals outside their comfort zones to learn through hands-on experiences, which are then reflected upon and connected to workplace scenarios during facilitated debriefing sessions.
